Youth Workers and Rural Heritage Promotion
YRP is an innovative transnational project developed under Erasmus + EU program (Action: “Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Capacity Building in the field of Youth”) and aims to update the youth workers’ skills to promote cultural heritage in rural areas, through the realization of non-formal and informal activities, as well as to enhance the use of ICTs, according to Europe 2020 Strategy.

WHO WE ARE
YRP is a wide transnational initiative that brings together 9 partners from EU and Extra-EU countries with different specializations.
OBJECTIVES
The project aims to update youth workers’ skills to promote cultural heritage in rural areas, through the realization of non-formal and informal activities and the the creation of a new professional profile for youth workers: “Innovation Advisor for cultural heritage’s promotion in rural areas”, able to use digital tools to raise awareness about rural local heritage.
RESULTS
Involvement
of youth workers of rural areas as direct target group, providing them with the necessary knowledge, competences and skills.
Promotion
Helping young people to respond to the challenges of rural areas by promoting and enhancinglocal economic growth.
